By car from the CBD
Head up Oxford Street, turn right onto Flinders St, and then continue to Anzac Parade and then UNSW.

By car from the Airport
Proceed to O’Riordan Street, turn right onto Gardener’s Road to the end, turn left at the large roundabout onto Anzac Parade – UNSW is only four blocks up Anzac Parade.

Public Transport

There are two major parking stations:
Barker Street Carpark – Entry via Gate 14, Barker Street.
Botany Street Carpark – Enter via Gate 11, Botany Street.

Parking on campus is available at minimum charge on weekdays. Short-term metered parking is available in both parking stations and at various locations around campus.

Casual and visitor parking is available via the CellOPark App and ‘pay by plate meters’ at various locations.You can see the rates available here.

Parking is free after 7.30pm weekdays and on weekends and public holidays.

Depending on the size and scale of your event someone will always be around to assist you, whether they are on call or you have your event custodian meet and greet you the morning of your event.

We deliver clever solutions with our enthusiastic service to ensure your event is a success.

Our campus security is on UNSW grounds 24/7 and is contactable here.

If you require dedicated staff for your event after hours, please don’t hesitate to organise this with the Hospitality Team.

Security can also be arranged for your event if necessary through your Hospitality contact.

We have our very own residential centre on campus, which boasts 44 rooms ensuring total comfort and connectivity for your guests. Please contact our Hospitality team directly to make a booking. Please note there is a minimum of 10 rooms booked per night. We can also recommend hotels and apartments that we have partnered with in the area.

At our CBD Campus, located at 1 O’Connell St in the city we have close relationships with neighbouring hotels and can make tailored suggestions for your guests’ accommodation.

Catering cannot be taken inside any lecture theatres and seminar rooms but we can assist you in finding a venue with a foyer area that can be used for eating and drinking. Learning Environments information can be found here.

UNSW prides itself on being accessible by all. Disabled parking on campus is readily available for those who have a current disabled parking permit. Please don’t hesitate to contact the office on (02) 9385 1515 should you require any further assistance or clarification.

Audio Visual

UNSW Hospitality employ professional sound, vision and lighting engineers who will be happy to meet the requirements of your event. Please ensure that you provide details of your audio visual requirements during the planning stages of your booking to ensure we can provide the correct team on the day of your event. Please liaise with your UNSW Hospitality contact to discuss and organise the AV details for your event.
